Snow in Hakodate City, Hokkaido, Japan

We had a heavy snow in Hakodate City last winter. I had to remove and dig the snow with a spade everyday to make a road for my family. And a my friend and I also removed a lot of snow from a house nereby where two women live in. One woman is fiftyeight and another woman is eighty three years old. It is very impossible for them to dig and remove snow with spades.

To remove snow took us more than two hours and it was a good exercise for us because both of us are a little bit diabetic. For diabetics, lack of exercise will bring them more serious problems. So both of us willingly removed snow from the woemen's back garden to outside night and day.

See you,
